The Myra Green In Session student publication at Myra Green Middle School is produced by the Journalism students and facilitated by the teacher acting as adviser and editor. The goal of this publication is to inform the student body of life situations that our students are going through at school, at home, and in their personal lives. Creativity in fiction writing, true stories, poetry, etc., and research in topics of interest is also encouraged. The first five freedom rights in the First Amendment under the United States Constitution are taken very seriously and students are given the right to express their views and beliefs as they have been taught in this class.
The First Five Freedom Rights listed in the First Amendment to the United States Constitution are:
1. Freedom of Religion:Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or 2. Freedom of Speech 3. Freedom of the Press 4. Freedom of the right of the people peaceably to assemble 5. Freedom to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
